Avni means 'stone' and Lingua Franca regard it a signature of Willamette Valley's volcanic geology. A vivid, refreshing, apple-scented chardonnay, which is mineral and nervy on the palate, with subtly-handled oak lending a nutty edge to the lemon-curd and apricot flavours on the palate. Elegant, with a little grip on the long finish.
