PlumpJack know exactly what they are doing. 2019 being a slow year for ripening, they knew when to bide their time and wait for the grapes to develop. The benefit of this patience is clear - one of their best wines to date, the reserve chardonnay is complex and beautifully layered. Opening with stone and citrus fruit, floating seamlessly in floral notes of orange blossom and honeysuckle, it is underpinned by warm, sweet baking spices.
